Himansh Kohli told TOI, “Several things had happened back then, but I never wanted to talk about them. All I want to say is that she did not want to continue. So, we mutually decided to part ways. She decided to move on in life, I respected it. But in no time, the entire story took a turn. Each time she put up a post on social media, I had to face the backlash.” Soon after this interview, Neha Kakkar took to her social media and lashed out. While she did not mention any names, her post hinted towards him. She put out a warning to not use her name for fame, and to stay away.

He shared a happy picture of himself and wrote, “The only thing that will make you happy is being happy with who you are, and not who people think you are. - GoldieHawn #PositiveVibes #WednesdayWisdom #HimanshKohli.”
In his interview, Himansh Kohli had also said that back then, people were drawing conclusions based on Neha Kakkar’s posts, and that when she cried on shows, everyone blamed him. “I wanted to cry too, but then we tend to put up a brave front. At the end of the day though, we are humans,” he said.
